Peer review procedure for the publication of scientific contributions on i-lex

Each original article will be published only after a positive peer review of its scientific value has been carried out according to the following procedure:

1. The contribution should be sent by e-mail to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
2. The editorial board, even by delegating some members, decides whether to submit the contribution to the evaluation procedure or not to accept it for publication.
3. In case of positive results, the contribution will be sent to two referees, which will remain anonymous to the author, indicated by the members of the scientific or editorial board.
4. The contribution will be sent anonymously, without any reference that could identify the author.
5. The Editor in chief, after obtaining the unanimous opinion of the Editorial Board and of the Scientific Board, may invite authors to submit their contributions to the journal; in this case, in the evaluation procedure, the two anonymous referees will be replaced by two members of the Editorial Board or of the Scientific Board selected randomly.
6. The evaluation criteria and the evaluation form to be sent to the referees are prepared by the Editorial Board.
7. The compiled evaluation forms shall be kept by the Editor in chief or by a person delegated by him.
